Venom Gear Telescopic Hook Aluminum

This is an anodized aluminium aeriel style hook that extends to a maximum of 100cm. Perfect for small to medium venomous snakes but in the right hands it is perfectly adequate for a field work. Ideal for juvenile snakes and small to medium viper species.

The sections of the shaft have a ridge to prevent the hook end from turning like other aerial hooks. This can make a dangerous situation out of nothing. 

Maximum weight when fully extended to 1 meter is 1kg at a 90deg angle. We have found it to bend a bit at 1,5kg. We just bent it back and it is still perfect. Obviously we don't recommended this hook for heavy duty work. It is plenty strong enough for the scratching around the bush and handling most small to medium sized snakes.
